The final correction

To a murder are you bound?

Did you commit a moral sin?

Did the state hunt you down,

to seal your conviction?

In some states they feel,

that you should be made to die.

It’s part of the old deal,

of an eye for an eye.

I am a device of death,

that will be the end of you.

I am made to impress.

This is a thing you should not do.

I am made of strong wood,

and an electrical connection.

They will strap you in real good,

to give you the final correction.

When they do this act,

above you sits the state.

And this cold fact,

that they control your fate.

The government is up a plane,

than that of mortal man.

They have no god that proclaims,

from a divine right it commands.

The state acts as it will.

It is above the common law.

Declaring that those they kill,

being a justice for us all.
