Now they say you only truly love once

One with over-and-beyond, no matter the cost

One that helps you get the animals, with you ,into the ark

One that spends 3 days with you in the belly of the whale or shark

I found that person without needing a map

When I was with her ,that's the only time i truly napped

She plucked lots of strings all over my harp

Different types of melodies to form genres, country to rap

She has the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen

So spirit free, beautiful of set of teeth

So beautiful, pure and made me believe

I guess that's why I really made her a queen

She glowed through out this movie, glowing in every scene

She shed light and exposed things from which I needed to heal

Gave me a family that treated me like their kid

She renewed hope 1000 times in the 1000 times I struggled to believe

Now that chapter's over, it all feels odd

Like I lost a limb and have nothing to stand on

In my aim to protect her, I had to switch the lights off

To conserve the lightning that would have smite us to dust

Protecting her from things I do foresee coming

So like the chains, I had to break it off

I would be in hell if i said it didn't hurt

But I guess sacrifice is 50% love and 50% hurt

Silver lining is I can say I've experienced love

But now I am throwing the keys to keep my heart locked

Cause if i leave it open,I'd bleed on people and that's wrong

Covering the base so no one can even try the backdoor

So here's the cheers to the Perseus and Andromeda story

One that'd rest forever in my memory
