A smile so vigorous
Its completely blinding
An air of confidence
Not haughty but self conscious
With a hint of a boyish charm
That hints to your innocence
Oh baby boy
You have caught me
Acknowledge this great feat
For many have tried and failed
Many have begged for said attention
But only two have surpassed
The first was a lover
Now turned to a scorned reminder
But what of you
Said baby boy
Are you and him the same
Are you too trying to lure me into your game
Well, I'll have at it
I'll play with a bit of mischievousness as well
I'll try to win over your closed off self
Yes your closed off self
Did you think I was a simpleton
In the art of love and war
I am a veteran
When looking for signs
From what I've seen
Your just like me
You smile so bright
Which invites others in
But deep down
Your just as jaded
