oh, but best friend
A poem I wrote when me and friend Got in trouble cause of a friend her's sending us stuff
I tried to tell you so
Don’t look away from this now
Don’t tell me that we are done
Doesn’t seem that we were ever true
But i am here and i am with you.
I will help you
Even if you turn me away
I will come running with the water for the flames that seem to have set ablaze
Our friendship was a puzzle once before
We fitted together so perfectly
Of course the life we live is just like a drama gig
The life we live
Why is it that every time I raise my voice
I seem to not be heard
You can hear me now
You see me through the gray
I know that time wasn’t worth it
I know that what we said was outrage
Oh but best friend
Raise your hand out to me
Raise voice unto to me
I will hear you
I will catch you
Don’t worry a thing
It’s all blurry now
Our faces burning with tears
For we were caught in the shot of pure guilt
Oh best friend i am with you
I am here and i will be there
I know we will wake blue as could be the very next day
Possibility of more pain is on the way
The possibility that they will not understand
The possibility that we are slipping away
Oh because of one simple thing
One simple thing
So simple
Our world is chaos covered with lights and machines that cover us in guilt and mystery
One click. Two clicks. We click send
Oh they say best friend
Playing with fire is when you are bound get burned
It's getting so hot
I’m burning up
Oh but best friend
We fueled the fire
That is burning us slowly
Oh but best friend
We are crying
Oh but best friend
We are not dying
They better prepare
Cause tomorrow the fire goes out
And will sit in misery
Wondering why it went this far
We got our word out
But was right or was it wrong
Punishment is ticking
Like the clock on the wall
30 minutes of silence
30 minutes of silent crying
Oh but best friend we are in this together
