Oh.
She trembles.
The earth shudders around her and
The sky explodes in lights.
The heavens open up and
Pour down cold showers with
Rays of hot sunshine.
Her skin prickles with
A flourish of goosebumps and
Her heart stops—
Then starts again,
Pounding,
Much faster,
Much harder than before.
She is ringed in rainbows and
The air sparkles with magic.
She has lost all feeling in her legs as
They wobble at
The knees.
She is weightless and
Watery.
Oh.
So, this is it.
A single, silent moment has passed.
She has lived and died
And been reborn in
The blink of an eye.
Everything is better
And worse
All at once.
So, this is love at first sight.
