Offering

I wish to give you the MOON

but that will deprive you of the entertainment

from watching it from afar.

I wish to give you the STARS

but you will miss the joy

of counting them on a starry night.

I wish to give you the SUN

but you won't enjoy

basking its warmth in the summertime.

That made me thinking

What will I give you

You seem to have everything.

I can offer you my friendship,

which forever you can keep.

I can offer you a helping hand,

every time you needed one.

I can offer you an advice,

if you feel unwise.

I can offer you my company,

when you feel alone and lonely.

I can offer you my ALL,

if that is what you need after all.
