Of Frogs and Princes
For he truly was a prince, In a cloak all along.
Of frogs and princes,
A tale often told,
Of a princess fair
And a frog, so bold.
He croaked and he leapt,
With a heart full of cheer,
Hoping to win her love,
And to banish all fear.
But the princess just laughed,
And turned him away,
Not believing in love,
That could change in a day.
Yet the frog persevered,
And proved her wrong,
For he truly was a prince,
In a cloak all along.
And so the princess learned,
To not judge by appearance,
For love knows no bounds,
And true love endures.
And the frog learned,
To be bold and fight,
Go after it with all his might.
No matter how little he may feel,
In the depth of his heart is where there light
