Ode to the Longing Spring
Seasons come and they go. I long for spring

Ode to the Longing Spring
In the hush of winter's fading sigh,
I yearn for the spring where blossoms lie,
Where tender buds in sunlight gleam,
And dreams awaken from slumber’s dream.
The frost retreats, its grip does cease,
As whispers of warmth bring sweet release.
Oh, gentle breeze, with perfumed air,
You dance through the branches, so light and rare.
Each daffodil dares to softly bloom,
Chasing away the cold's gray gloom.
A symphony played by birds on the wing,
Promises of love that only spring can bring.
I long for the laughter of rivers that run,
For the golden rays of a warm, melting sun.
In every petal, in every sigh,
Is the heartbeat of spring as it passes by.
So come, sweet season, with laughter and light,
Ignite the world with your colors so bright.
For in your embrace, my spirit takes flight,
Oh, how I long for your comfort tonight.
