The brilliance and blindness you bring all in one visit
To blot out my past and my future
To make me only see the present.
Your unhurried dance in the valleys
While your sister mist embraces the mountains
And kisses the evergreens.
Remaining as hushed as the first snowfall
Reminding me of a home I have never known
Revealing a path only in this trance.
The crisp air helps me know autumn
Wants follows you, and pulling my jacket close
I watch you encircle me.
The mystery of your company captures me
As I sit waiting for you to leave but
Always welcoming you back home as my old companion.
The remains of you shimmer in the grass
Highlighting each spider’s web-like diamonds in the daylight
Disappearing when the warmth reaches through the clouds.

The imagery of this is gorgeous, and the line about you pulling your jacket closer puts me into the poem. Beautiful. I also love the first line, setting up the idea of fog as something that is both beautiful and a blocker of other beauties
