Ode to Godzilla: The King of Monsters

Godzilla: Monarch of Hope and Destruction

By Adrian WordsmithPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In shadows cast on silver screens

A titan's roar a world it redeems

From depths of the ocean to city's bright gleam

Godzilla you rise a hero it seems

With scales of steel and spines that ignite

You emerge from the depths a magnificent sight

The bringer of balance in darkness and light

Roaring for justice in the midst of the fight

Through the ravaged city you thunder and tread

A force of nature no mortal can dread

In your fiery breath hope is widespread

A guardian of Earth where danger has spread

Oh Godzilla you stand as a symbol so grand

A protector of realms on this ancient land

In your colossal might we all understand

The power of courage at your command

From Tokyo's skyline to oceans so deep

Your legend endures a promise to keep

In every footfall in every fierce sweep

A hero's journey forever we'll reap

So let us unite in awe and respect

For Godzilla the King we shall protect

In your towering presence we find our sect

A symbol of strength none shall forget
