Banana cream pie I love to eat.
I think it is such a yummy treat.
There is a lot of whipped cream on top.
After eating one piece, I can't stop.

Some bananas will ripen one day,
But please don't ever throw them away.
Banana bread's fun to eat, to make.
Some people love to share what they bake.
Banana splits--a dessert I love.
I feel like I'm in heaven above.
With cherries, nuts, I'll eat more and more.
Add caramel topping, hear me roar!
In Cheerios they're a breakfast treat.
Banana bars, cookies--fun to eat.
In some fruit salad: delicious, sweet.
Bananas, as a fruit can't be beat.

Wild Card Weekend Recap: What Happens Now?
I think I figured out why I love Wild Card Weekend so much. It's because it's the first playoff anything of the calendar year. The NFL season starts in the fall, and once upon a time, the champion was crowned either on or slightly before New Year's. The evolution of the NFL schedule has resulted in the playoffs starting just into the New Year, and currently, the final week of the season falls on the first weekend of the New Year, with Wild Card Weekend coming a week after that. So yes, chronologically, the NFL's Wild Card Weekend serves as the first playoff anything of the calendar year.
