Ocean Whispers

{the waves of change, the waves of words, are stronger than anything else}

The waves, the eerie calm

the silence, the whispers

They call, they summon

To the depths, of the wet dry waves

I can hear them, I can feel them

It's like the ocean has feelings

It's crying out to me

Trying to reel us all in with those silent ocean whispers

The Ocean frowns, it smiles, and it cries with silent rage

Can you feel it? Can you see it?

No? Then wade in, and close your eyes

Feel the sand beneath your feet, smell the salty breeze

Feel the gentle air moving past you

Sit down in the water even,

Can't you hear it calling to you?

Gently saying your name,

as it wraps around your legs in a cool embrace

The salty water, it wants you to lay down

so why not?

The ocean whispers to you,

as you feel the cool embrace your body

sand swirls around you as you once again close your eyes

The calm, muffled sounds of the water sounds eerie underwater

doesn't it? Or do you prefer that sound?
