I knew nothing of love

Other than what I watched on tv.

I learned that love was about touching

More than caring about feelings

And while you held no emotion

I was an ocean, and these thoughts were like treasures I buried within me,

As you sail your boat,

Until you found the waters too unstable

You abandoned ship

And left the leftover wreck to me to bury within the seas of my despair.

I asked the moon if you even cared,

But she just shined and told me

Love was a heavy weight to bear

Because the moon knows best as she's seen it all

Lovers who's love falls apart

And those who'd smile and hide their true hearts

She has seen it all,

But so did I,

Because the ocean holds tales that have been buried between the silent waves

And maybe one-day

A sailor won't sail my oceans to dump his misfortunes,

But to find

My treasure.

Be proud to show the world

About what he had found.
