Ocean's Bounty
I've been to a few, sorry, there's no name.
On the East coast of America, whenever we vacation there
My family takes us to a place, where the smell of seafood fills the air
The first time I went to one, I was extremely happy that day
I enjoyed the ocean's bounty that was served at a seafood buffet
Fresh crab legs, steamed perfectly, they were fine
Yet, for an order the entire restaurant had an extensive line
So, I found a spot that had crab arms and legs with dry rub
No lines at all, I grabbed several pieces, it was really good grub
On the way to my table I'd walk past cups of coagulated garlic butter that would jiggle
Parents telling their kids to eat the most expensive food, the price of fine dining is something they would niggle
"Crab! Lobster! Swordfish! Giant Seabass!"
Listen, nature's bounty is extensive, try something new, give them a pass
Author's Notes: This poem was made for a prompt challenge initiated by Rick Henry. As per his words "This prompt should be a poem that is no more than 150 words and the Topic is going out to dinner at your favorite restaurant. The word jiggle should be used in the poem with at least one word that rhymes with jiggle."
As per my own words, "Let's see what You can come up with too. Since I think a lot of people are sick of writing haikus, some are even turning their own shades of blue. Thank You for reading, I bid You adieu."
