The waves they crash upon the shore, I love the sound they make
A place to ease a troubled mind, in that there’s no mistake
To close your eyes and listen, to the ocean touching land
To take a walk along a beach, toes sinking in to sand
To see right to the horizon, sea twinkling like a gem
Your heart feels full, your spirit cleansed, your soul it’s fresh again
To feel the cool calm water, enveloping your skin
To release ones earthy boundaries, and brave a little swim
To float upon the surface, eyes closed against the sun
It’s my favourite place to relax, there is no better one
The ocean really calls to me, there’s no place I’d rather be
Than floating, swimming, sailing upon the endless seas
