She’s been
watching
from the shadows,
lurking
in the night.
*
Her eyes
burn
with desire,
ready
to ignite.
*
A twisted
love
that cannot be
tamed,
chasing the darkness,
playing
this deadly game.
*
Whispers from the
silence,
“she’s losing control”.
Every
thought consumes her,
the
mind takes more unsavory
tolls.
*
The girl he
loves
is just in the way,
so
she won’t let anyone
steal
him away.
*
In the darkness,
she
waits for a
sign.
A little push, a little cut,
she’ll
make him hers this
time.
*
At obsession’s edge,
she’s
too close, she will
fall.
Her twisted
heart
beats for him
but
it’s not his
fault.

No short fiction today; I need to get back to focusing on my trilogy and other potential novels, so it may be a few days or so before I finally get another short fiction edited and posted.
As for "new" stuff, like more book and tv reviews, those will take some time, especially the tv ones. But, a few music playlists are on the horizon, as promised. And I may do another "confession" pretty soon, too.
We'll see how things go.

Oooo, I can't decide if I like her but this was very intriguing. Loved your poem!
Your poems are great therapy for all readers.
I am new to your work. This poem is so relatable. Near the end there, did I hear a silent. ' this is all his fault' The other girl standing in the way, but she keeps trying, hoping it would go the other way. But... It's not his fault. Maybe I want it to be his fault lol. Anyways. I saw the word 'confession' it's getting me excited cause... Well ... I am nosey lol. Good look on your future novels, the writing process and all 🤗❤️
