An unlearned lesson

Heart burning with passion
Mind turning into ashes
The soul unfed and broken
Letting go because it wasn't working
Now I'm lost without my main focus
Reading old messages, feening for some old attention
Can’t stop looking in your direction
God, please help, I need your correction
Keep ending up in the same position
It can get bad, yeah really bad
It's kind of sad
Why I keep taking the same path?
The one that only leads to insanity
At least I know the pain and shame won’t last
This feeling shall pass
It's not easy
But it's freeing
Peaceful mind

Joyful soul
