Obey the rules of the road
Drivers should be concerned with safety
Hear this public service announcement
Drivers, you must obey the road rules
Use your signals and take heed to signs
Or go back to driver's school
Buckle yourseat belts
Turn on your headlight
So you will be safe
And can see how to drive at night
At red lights and pedestrian crossings
Please come to a complete stop
Speed limits are to be obeyed
Don't get pulled over by the cops
You shouldn't run past a school bus
This is dangerous for all concerned
You are not just risking your own life
Let this be a lesson learned
Stop speeding and road rage
For the well-being of others also
Obey the laws of the road
Or off to jail you will go

The Midnight Battle of Good and Evil
This poem was inspired by the original Disney animated film Fantasia. It ends as the demons who ruled the night flee as church bells ring, and morning dawns. This poem was also inspired by my experiences as a church prayer intercessor from 5-6 am for 4 years.
