Obelisks and Idols

Did we listen, Mr. Clarke?

Echoes of Gaia’s abstruse rituals

Celestial bodies engaged in a cosmic waltz, as

Lice-covered apes below

Indulge newfound curiosity

Pulling upwards, heads hitherto bent toward the soil

Seeking illusory connotations within these

Ethereal harbingers

As soon as I read "Obelisks" I immediately thought of "Obelisk The Tormentor" and for some reason Your poems not far off. It's like as mankind rose and star the stars dancing around us, if we're apart of that system hoe can we harness and pay tribute to such power, sort of like how some religions are formed. We got gods named after the sun, stars, and other cosmic bodies all the time yet connecting their power to us? How would You do that without an obelisk (ye' old Egyptian space antenna)?
