O Great All-Knowing Spirit from up above on high,
cast down thine eyes to this earth-bound child
and draw thy presence nigh.
See my pain increased and pained my tender sweet love it be.
With hands of sacred power and strength,
please heal this my infirmity—which plagues me still
—though with a resolve of being determined and true,
I have vowed and desired my whole life through
to be like the pearl which night and day grew
in secret unseen beneath waves of azure blue.
And when hands should lift to open treasure’s chest,
t’will be there in my heart they would find clear expressed
the unsurpassed beauty and irresistible charm,
the most powerful talisman offering freedom and not harm.
And starlight and sunrays with wind breaths and moon streams
summer-lit-passion-fire thoughts and crystal-silver-sweet daydreams
O my troubled heart which longs with longing to love.
Help of Him who heals I seek from majestic heights above.
Grant me, O Holy One, the strength with which to endure.
A soul soaked in vast richness, set apart, sacred, and pure.
And peace like a river to calm the rages of my mind.
Is it prayer, potion, or mantra for my healing I must find?
Nay, but touch thy hand to my weary heart,
or pray thee guide me with thine eye.
Embrace me with thy sweet caress as the eons pass us by.
And by and by I shall reclaim, renew the chasm in my breast.
Filled with desire, dedicated and triumphant through the test.
O my heart, may it forever be haven’s altar and sweet rest.
Be until the end enduring, faithful, harmonious, and forever blessed.
