The sky near dusk in November
Blends gray and pink with amber
One hour prior to sunset
Look around, don’t forget
**
The air is crisp, the sky is blue
Breathe deeply, and take in the view
**
When the sky turns black
Constellations come back
**
As the sun rises again
You may feel a yen
To see Orion’s belt
Under the nightly melt
**
Milky Way streaming
And satellites beaming
**
November skies at evening
Continue their weaving
**
Blending paint strokes
Before the night cloaks

This had such an ethereal feel and sound to it. Loved the way it flowed. Exceptional work, Andrea! Thank you for sharing it as part of your submissions for the book!
My favorite ❤️❤️🤩
Love this poem from dusk to night… “Milky Way streaming and satellites beaming.” Beautiful 🤩
True even in anchorage in single digit temps. When I see Orion’s Belt I know the weather is clear and cold.
lovely
