Nothing is rare

Nothing is rare

By HoneyPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

love is real but rare

I looked here and there

In my eyes, into yours or a stranger’s

Something is absent

The bodily needs are fulfilled

But the heart cries

Heavy breathes from running

The ‘sad sighs’

Running after the things that are everywhere

Love is real but rare

Only children hold the real riches

The innocent smiles and birthday wishes

How did my heart now wound up in stitches?

My innocence taken away by a group of witches

I chase the illusory dreams

Into my empty eyes now I stare

Only love is real but rare

You just missed the bird that flew by

You were not present for that ‘gust of wind’

A flower has blossomed, bursting with life

But you dare not look away from your phone

Or you were lost in your thoughts

Missed all the benediction that lies around you

Now you cry life isn’t fair

Love is real but rare

The only thing that a man now needs badly

The only thing that he ever needed was love

But he is looking at the wrong direction

He needs to move in non-action

Sit still close your eyes let the thoughts dissolve

Let the mystery be solved, let sweet silence dawn upon you

Your soul will be resurrected

The wounds shall seal forever

By a simple kiss of love

You will awaken to a new reality

And find that ‘thing’ that was ‘rare’

Is now everywhere

Love! Oh love! Is everywhere

I believe nothing in this world is rare

You just haven’t searched for it

Existence is ‘tremendous’

It believes in ‘abundance’

Billions of stars and galaxies

The universe is vast

Alive with infinite possibilities

So nothing is rare

But something is.

‘Curiosity’ my friend is ‘rare’

The eyes of a child filled with amazement

It is rare in grown-ups

Being lively is rare

Being so filled with amazement

That you not only forget to think

But also forget to blink

It is ‘RARE’
