Nothing Beats Writing In My Life

Every morning I am anxious to see what I will write, it wasn’t always this way

I can write without alcohol, coffee, or soft drink

water and tea is what I drink now.

My life is to get up, read, write, and think.

Wait a minute, isn’t it think, then write?

No, write some more, I may be on the brink

of something great and how will I know

unless I just put it on paper and then sink

into my comfy chair in the living room

to think some? I can talk it out and blink -

walla, there it is! What is important to write

is putting me in an optimal state, now ‘I am in the pink’!

~

Wait, what about think, write, then drink for today

Okay, let’s try it. Think, what should I write on this day?

How about a rhyme about writing on this Thursday

That will do. I love to rhyme, and I do it all the time

How is this for thinking, when rhyming everyday

even for nonsense, I have to think it through to

write a nonsense rhyme, I feel like my mind is going, I say

whatever pops in that makes the rhyme.

~

Nonsense

It doesn’t have to make sense

So here goes, it may sound dense

While sitting on the fence

She smiled across at Hence

She told him about her mense

and therefore he must pay pence

Hence said nonsense!

~~

Authors Note: Okay, enough rhyming for now. On to the job of writing a book!

You do have quite the sense of humor here and good work on all that nonsense. Good luck on the book and do not forget about your research for that book for you will probably need historical and artistic stories to make it interesting.

  • Haha; I love the freedom in this, in you! sweet release!
