In the quiet hush of dawn's first light,
Where shadows linger, out of sight,
A promise whispers on the breeze,
Of futures bright, yet to unfreeze.
Not yet the daybreak's golden hue,
Nor the moonlight's tender blue.
In the pause between the breaths we take,
A world in flux, yet to awake.
Not yet the laughter in the air,
Or the burdens that we bear.
In the silence of the not yet known,
A seed of hope, though not yet grown.
Not yet the answers to our pleas,
Or the waves upon the seas.
Not yet, but soon, we shall be met.
