Not sorry

I close my eyes and try to make myself believe that this is how I want us to be.

Forget all our memories.

Try to forget you because now you have forgotten me.

Well hey, I know it’s never too late.

Pretty soon you won’t mean a thing and I’ll be as distant as you wanted from the beginning when you were just pretending.

My heart’s been abused, confused, and wasted all because of you.

You were my only exception and I had no objection.

I should’ve seen right through the seams.

Now there’s no need for your company.

You’re not sorry at all, not sorry.

You’re just like any other, used me as your cover.

Now I won’t be sorry at all.

Not sorry.

There’s no truth about forever.
