I say to myself as I overthink it all

Butterflies and a tight embrace

When you want to convey the scent

Of warmth and spiced passion

Taking over your sense of smell

When you want to speak volumes

Of all the little things you’re

Forever grateful for

When you want it to perfectly

Express the right things and

Be memorable at the same time

What are the right words?

How do you put all of this

Into a message to be heard?

Do I write a poem?

Maybe a song?

Should I scream it or whisper?

When should I say it?

What if you don’t feel the same?

Oh crap I said no overthinking it!

I can show it easy
