Not Going Round
Just because the earth is round doesn’t mean my life have to be
My storm ends here you see
So I got off the merry go round of darkness
And got on the path toward happiness
On this path I’m still a little dizzy
The light at the end of the tunnel is still a little fuzzy
But I am led by the hope of my dreams
The end is closer than it seems
I look back at the merry go round
Then run back to it’s comfort sound
Riding alone on the black horse
As my friends stay on the happy course
Still not fully alone, even though I want to be on my own
With stress and anxiety is where I seem to belong
Looking back at the bright path, hope finds me
I find myself back on the path of happiness , because the end is the only thing I can see
