Not Friends

Is it so hard to call me a friend?

Not to me, but to the people who ask

Just a girl in his group chat

Time talking means nothing to him

I know it's not personal

And he didn't mean it

Or maybe I am delusional

But I know I am lost without him

I see the wrong but I need the good

I see the bad but I need his right

Conversational. I love the question at the start. Slowly zipping and closing us into the subject matter. Personal ~ delusional I see the connection. The flow is great. But these two last lines have me fan gurling. 'i see the wrong but I need the good,' 'I see the bad but I need his right' Fantastic work 🤗❤️
