Not For Everyone
You Can't Control My Writing
By L.I.EPublished about a year ago • Updated about a year ago • 1 min read
Someone asked me if my poems for everybody?
If church people can read it?
Then tells me sister nosey might read it.
My answer to that was “I don't care what people think”
Then tells me that it still should be pleasing to the Lord.
Well I write about my life
And I don't write to please people
My gift is God giving
But I am also human
Who love to have fun
So whether my words are up to your standards or not is up to you
I write what I want to write
With curse words and all
And I ain't deleting a Damn thang

Righto! Keep writing what you love. The world will vibe with your words 😊💪
Ha- good going there! It’s good to have boundaries tho…
A bold and unapologetic expression of individuality, freedom, and authenticity in writing, embracing both faith and humanity.
I could not agree more!! Writing is for us!
You go, gurl! We should always write for ourselves. Loved your poem!
God man us in His image. First there was the WORD and the WORD was God. Jesus said for us to not worry what goes in our mouths, but what comes out. I told Jesus, what comes out of my mouth, already went in so if I am in God's image, then I stand by American Constitutional WRITE for FREEDOM OF SPEECH. If the church folks don't like that, they are free to have that opinion based on their constitutional right to Freedom of Religion. Yay America!
You Go Girl - Write whatever you like and I will read it!! Well Done!!
Very powerful! And yes, you do YOU! I love your writing! 💕
We it’s for me I agree 100%
