Not A Walk In The Park
Responding to Poppy's September poetry prompt

A faraway wind scares limbs of trees
Bellow's hallow, like hallow's eve
Fractured branches
Late Summer's tease
Unlike the hush of this season's breeze
A crow's delight
To bringeth night
A glimpse of shade by candlelight
Behoove the move; crow's hindsight
Rocks the core of what once thought nice
A throwback voice
Haunts- think: Vincent Price
Think not once or twice or even thrice
Ace it, walketh into the dark
A lone feather's landing, black speaks hark
Crow's whoosh to treetop in a half-lit park
Bends the strongest pair of hard-core knees
...
