What a delight - you have written about one of my dreams! So I too could marvel at the shimmering light! Pauline 🌸
Beautiful Judey!!! I love this!!
I've travelled in Russia's arctic north and never saw the lights. So it was a bit of a surprise to have them outside my house yesterday. Very cool, and a long conversation with my daughter about what causes them and why the sun is a bit like an enormous bowl of porridge bubbling away in the sky, shooting out solar flares instead of oaty bubbles. Which probably gives her a very confused idea of how it all works, but 'ionized particles in the upper atmosphere' doesn't always mean a lot when you're eight!
Entrancing! Love the delight captured in the final line!
Oh how I would love to see the Northern Lights 🥹.
I see the colorful wonder and greet.
So true. My tl was full of friends' pics.
