No Way I’m Begging

Choosing Self-Worth Over Chasing Immature Love

Life sucks, it’s a messy game,

Full of struggles, loss, and blame.

But in the chaos, here I stand,

Not typing pleas to a grown man.

No paragraphs of desperate tone,

No asking him to pick up the phone.

No bending low, no losing me,

To teach someone maturity.

I’d rather face what life can bring,

The bitter bite, the sharpest sting,

Than waste my words, my breath, my time,

On fixing love that’s not worth a dime.

So here I am, the world’s still tough,

But I know my worth—I’ve had enough.

No way I’ll beg, no way I’ll try,

For someone who can’t meet eye to eye.
