No One Saw this Coming
I thank god I did go to the wedding it was meant to be.

No One Saw this Coming
I didn’t plan to stay long
just show my face, drink the free fizz
smile for the photos
Then go home alone.
my dress fit better than I remembered
and the music was loud enough to blocking
every thought I didn’t want.
i was relaxed, yes me.
then Omg,
there you were.
like a dream, I never saw it coming.
Me and you.
same eyes
same smile, same sexy smell.
same blue suit.
You said smiling,
still love a party, eh?
and I laughed.
because I did.
because I still loved you
and I hated that I did.
We didn’t fake small talk.
We didn’t ask how things had been
We just moved closer, too close.
like the gap between us had never happened
by midnight
your hand was on my back
like it belonged there.
by two we were gone
we made love all night.
We didn’t call it anything
just picked up where we left it
2 years ago. no ceremony
just heat sex and sleep.
Next year it’s real
very romantic, me and you.
a white dress, a date,
my bed, your keys
Our home.
Our life.
nothing borrowed it’s real.
One thing we both know,
this second chance is our fate
handed to us both,
because we are meant to be.
Our love is still real.
Two are one once again.
till death do us part.

There will always be a someone special out there for all of us. Some stay hidden though. Good job.
Sounds like an encounter that was meant to be!
This story is intense! The way they reconnected at the party is so unexpected. It makes me wonder if they'll be able to make this second chance work. Did they really think they could just pick up where they left off without any issues? I can't help but feel a bit skeptical about how smoothly it'll all go from here. Will they be able to build a new life together like they plan, or will old problems resurface? It's definitely a story with a lot of potential and a lot of questions.
