I heard the desperate plea
in your voice when you
had the audacity to say
those words to me.
Why? Are you afraid
I might be better at it
than you?
Take a step back
and ask yourself who
has been the architect
of hurting these past
thirty years, fifteen of
which have seen you
more invested
in your wife’s hair
than your daughter?
Was that me?
Have I ever
abandoned
anyone depending on me?
I think that next time
you think about saying
no more hurting
to me, you should
find a mirror and speak
to the architect of hurting.

Ohh I see why you used this photo. Fantastic choice. Keep writing about your feelings and conversations. They are very relatable and I know very healing for you. He seems childish, if anything. Tends to be the mother who cares the most. Fathers think they can just sit relax and out of nowhere they become a great father. I am sorry that he wasn't someone you felt you and your daughter could rely on. Fantastic work as always 🤗❤️🖤
