No Longer In My Photographs
Missing Parts
There are so many things I'd say I missed
Your eyes, your smile, the way you kissed
The way you made me try new things
And how you wore those old blue jeans
I miss your morning hugs, hello
And how you hesitated to let go
You held me near, and kissed my neck
So many things I can't forget
I miss the sarcastic tone you used
how you played dumb, acting confused
When I messed up a joke's punchline
Or got giddy from a little wine
I miss your touch, your breath, your sighs
And how you cried when I would cry
I loved that you hated to say goodbye
And how brave you were, when it came your time
There are countless things that I will miss
A million things I won't forget
I'll forever miss how you made me laugh
And I'll miss you in my photographs

That last line is really special. What a gut punch! Beautiful poem.
This is one way to say farewell to a relationship. Good job.
I love how personal and vivid the imagery is. You make the reader feel each hug, laugh, and glance as if they were their own memories.
A brilliantly written poem with incredible depth!
Sad but beautiful words
Wow, that gives life to every emotion we feel when we have to say goodbye, for a moment or forever.
Tender and aching. Every line feels like a memory held too tightly to let go
