I'm no longer afraid.

You have helped me to be strong and to give me the encouragement to move past my dark past.

I was scared and timid.

I felt I had to submit to every man that came along.

But you showed me true love.

You showed me not all men are the same.

You showed me what true love is.

You protected me when I needed you there the most.

You protected me when I was in danger.

Your love for me means the world to me.

It feels good to know that I have someone to love me and someone I can love.

I'm no longer afraid.

You have shown me what true love is.

I felt every man would use me for their own pleasure.

But you had patience for me and gave me the right to decide when I'm ready.

You showed me that every man was the same.

I'm no longer afraid.

I thought I would never find true love.

I thought no man would want to hold me.

But you showed me what it's like to be loved.

You held me everyday that we were together.

I am no longer afraid.

I am no longer afraid because of your love.
