No Key to the Mind

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 3 months ago 1 min read

Verse 1

Searching for answers, wandering in vain,

Looking for a key, but it’s all just a game.

The doors keep closing, locked up tight,

But the truth is waiting in the quiet light.

Chorus

There’s no key to the mind, no lock and chain,

It can only be opened from the inside, not in pain.

Discover the wonders that are hidden deep,

Unlock your own courage, let your spirit leap.

Verse 2

People run in circles, chasing shadows and fears,

But the treasure's not found in the thunderous cheers.

It’s a journey within, a twist and a turn,

Finding the wisdom that you’re meant to learn.

Chorus

There’s no key to the mind, no lock and chain,

It can only be opened from the inside, not in pain.

Discover the wonders that are hidden deep,

Unlock your own courage, let your spirit leap.

Bridge

When the world gets heavy, and the path seems unclear,

Take a moment to breathe, let the silence steer.

Trust the whispers, let your heart decide,

Break down the barriers, let love be your guide.

Verse 3

So embrace the journey, let the light shine through,

In the depths of your soul, there’s a spark that's you.

No need for a key, just a heart that’s kind,

Open the door, see what you might find.

Chorus

There’s no key to the mind, no lock and chain,

It can only be opened from the inside, not in pain.

Discover the wonders that are hidden deep,

Unlock your own courage, let your spirit leap.

Outro

So take a step forward, let the journey unwind,

For the key to true freedom is the love you find.

There’s no key to the mind, but you hold the light,

Open it wide, step into the night.
