Prep for takeoff

Batten the hatches

We've got a journey to take

Armstrong won't buy it

But we'll keep on flyin'

Out in into outer space

We don't know the route

So we'll trust our guide

He hasn't led us wrong thus far

Outpacing commits

And Wallace and Grommit

We'll burn like a shooting star

The man in the moon was taken by surprise

When we showed up on his front lawn

We told him night was over the Son was well alive

And with him the long-promised dawn

To infinity and beyond

We'll carry this message of hope

Cause we're the fam'ly of God

And he loves us more than we could know

Recently I published my first novel, The Burning Ones, a sword-and-sorcery-and-cyborg adventure balancing the youthful angst of a coming-of-age story with the realities of a world plagued by war.
