Night

A Poem

Night

It is the blanket to my soul.

Sun used to shine For what we thought was eternity.

The nightmare of reality sinks in like a cruel blade…

In to my unprotected heart.

Love now ends in the moons icy clutch.

Even though my heart is destroyed In this dark chaos…Night will protect my soul.

I will move on with a new heart.

For as long as I have my soul…I have life.
