The Final Word from Outstages Café

"As the clock swings round and the rhythm takes hold, we invite you to join the stomp. This isn’t just a jam; it’s a celebration of the 'wildwood heart' in all of us.

Sweetie Bird, our Executive Feathered Producer, has set the stage for a year of freedom and peace. We hope this tune brings a little 'tiny green lightning' into your New Year.

Leave a comment below: Which member of the Forest Band are you bringing into 2026? The drumming bear, the swaying reindeer, or maybe a robot buddy of your own?"

New Year’s Jam at Outstages Café

High-Energy Forest Stomp Artsy Cafe Swing

Spoken Intro

(Piano keys twinkling in a minor key, then a sudden heavy kick-drum thump)

“Alright… it is New Year’s Eve at Outstages Café, and the whole crew showed up. The rhythm’s bouncing, the lights are low, and the room’s filling with all kinds of characters bears tapping their paws, reindeer swaying like they’ve been practicing all year, a little bird keeping time, and a few ghostly figures drifting through like they’re just here for the groove. Even the robot buddies are warming up their circuits. And somewhere in the mix, the beat kicks in… and we start jamming our way into the new year.”

Verse 1

The walls turned to timber and the ceiling turned to sky,

Watching the ghostly piano player wave the year goodbye.

The bear’s got the rhythm, thumping on a hollow log,

While Chachi’s out front, barking through the winter fog.

Chorus

Oh, it is a Forest Jam for the brand-new start,

With a heavy boot beat and a wildwood heart!

Leave the blues in the parlor, let the pine needles sway,

We are stomping out the old year and hollering in the day!

Verse 2 (Sweetie’s Spotlight)

Sweeties on the mic, wings fluttering fast,

Singing out a melody to make the winter last.

She is a tiny green lightning, a feathered hurricane,

Whistling through the pines and leading the refrain!

Vicki this is my Sweetie Bird

Verse 3 The Midnight Crowd Breaks Loose

The reindeer hit the tabletops, hooves tapping out the beat,

While the ghost crew spun in circles, floating inches off the seat.

A robot shook its circuits like it learned to feel the sound,

And the whole café turned wild when the clock swung ‘round.

Bridge The Countdown Rumble

Ten… the lights flicker gold through the timber and the pine,

Nine… Sweetie whistles sharp, cutting clean across the time.

Eight… the bear lifts his log like a drum sent from the stars,

Seven… Chachi’s barking rhythms echo out beyond the bar.

Six… the ghosts swirl tighter, forming halos in the air,

Five… the robot sparks a shimmer like a neon winter flare.

Four… the room starts stomping like the forest found its roar,

Three… the wildwood heart is pounding louder than before.

Two… the whole crew leans in, ready for the shift,

One… the year cracks open like a door we’re meant to lift.

Final Chorus (Lifted Version)

Oh, it’s a Forest Jam for the brand new start,

With a heavy boot beat and a wildwood heart!

Raise your cups to the midnight, let the pine needles sway,

We’re stomping out the old year and hollering in the day!

Yeah, it’s a Forest Jam let the echoes fly free,

We’re ringing in the new year like a wildwood jubilee!

What a fun way to start the year. I love the idea of a forest band with bears and birds making music together.
