new ways

I wrote this song because I needed to change. My girlfriend and I were having issues and a lot of them were being caused by me. During our time apart I was able to reflect on my actions and see that some of the things I did were wrong. I wrote this as an apologie and to state that I was going to change myself and my actions moving forward. But it was already too late. We both had self realization and we knew that it wasn't going to work. Even though we couldn't work it out I'm still going to change. I'm going to do it for myself.
