Racing down the empty road

Realizing I am now alone

Static fills my ears and fogs my mind

The path now seems unbearable

As if each step I take is excruciating

I cannot go any longer my soul has left me

Break me in two and chop me up fine

Use me as kindle I can start a fire

I can entice an army to go to war

I can change the boundaries of the mind

All this effort feels useless and stressful

Exhausting me I cannot take much more

The demons have broken down the gate

Yet in my despair I have been made new

My cold stone heart blossoming apart

My new heart a fleshy work of art
