Never Thought I'd Sea

a rose by any other name

Cliffs of Mohr

I never thought I’d see or hear

Being called a name unknown

It sounds like She-In, dear

I still get Sheepdog with a bone

🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴

I get S---head, Sheeny and Sheen

And, any relation to the Bishop?

Sherman, even an O’Sheehan

Still get Potato, Irish and Mick

πŸ€“πŸ€“πŸ€“πŸ€“πŸ€“πŸ€“πŸ€“

In Gaelic, it is O’Siodhachain

Even I can’t pronounce it

So, I’ve learned to take them all

But my name is not an exhibit

πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š

I have always loved the sea

Must be in my Irish genes

Just to be near her makes me smile

Mikeydred says I’m a thalassophile …
