A vision
In my dreams yesterday
You weren’t gone
Inhabiting your land of far away
Like a mythical figure
You were disguising your face
Only I recognized your inner light
The shimmering tones that hail as your voice
Waiting, next to my favorite painting
Hanging in the Tate
We engaged in true intercourse
A lengthy two-way repartee
Before I drift entirely away
Every word I've imagined you'll say
Lights up the world and makes me long to stay
Every silken lyrical rope
Perfect for binding me, heart and soul,
With each clear, ringing note
Ecstatic vibrations flowing through
Your melody merging spiritually into me
I will always feel you reaching out
Hovering behind, parted we shall never be
