I know I'm not allowed to mention her,

and I don't want to anyway,

cause I know the things she says to you

Somehow carry more weight,

and I know you're having a good time,

cause you've been offline all day

Doesn't matter what I say,

cause I know what she says carries more weight

Bodies wrapped together

Upon red sheets

Minds intertwined

Just like how you were with me,

and I'm longingly waiting for the phone call that tells me you've changed your mind,

but it's only me, baby

"It's never gonna happen", right?

I know I played the executioner,

and you can't take all the blame

Everything I ever said to you

Came from a pure place

I know it was never the right time,

but with us I will always have some faith

Doesn't matter what I say,

cause you know just how long I can wait

Bodies wrapped together

Upon red sheets

Minds intertwined

Just like how you were with me,

and I'm longingly waiting for the phone call that tells me you've changed your mind,

but it's only me, baby

"It's never gonna happen", right?

heartbreak
