...if you just expect the worst
I’m never disappointed, if I just expect the worst,
You know that I’m never disappointed,
If I just expect the worst,
Ya’ll can race me to the bottom,
But you know I’m sure to get there first,
No one said life would be easy,
Least no one said that to me,
No one said life would be easy,

Sometimes I don’t know whether,
It’s better to be, or not to be,
”Your cup’s half-filled”, some people say,
”Tomorrow’s just another day”,
Well pardon my ingratitude,
But keep your goddamned platititutdes!
And take your words of wisdom,
Stick’em, where the sun don’t shine,
Ya’ll can take your words of wisdom,
Stick’em, where the sun don’t shine,
They say misery loves company,
But this misery’s all mine,
Get your own!
