Never burn a poet with rage.

His revenge could singe words on a page.

It might become your biggest mistake.

It may not be to your taste, but never insult a musician with your spite.

Oh, the songs he could write to bring this world to life!

Lyrics on repeat as we sleep at night; never burn a poet with rage.

Critiques are fine, but never disrespect a painter with what you might say.

When his canvas is hungry and asks to be fed, he will turn to painting it all red.

It's best to demean someone else instead, or it might become your biggest mistake.

'Belittle his chisels'? Oh, I think not; it is best not to offend a sculptor, I must say.

The depiction of you might be so crude, carved as an unflattering nude.

It is best to check the attitude; never burn a poet with rage.

I almost forgot to mention, avoid offending an author. Can you imagine all the ways?

As the subject of his book, you will be made to look like the biggest of crooks.

Lambasted and chastised on the page, it might become your biggest mistake.

Come to think of it, if he is an actor in a play, it is probably best to just stay away.

Months or years may pass before he is cast playing you,

Making you look like a fool while he is reciting his lines on stage; never burn a poet with rage.

It might become your biggest mistake.
