Neutral.

One Last Move.

By Cathy (Christine Acheini) Ben-Ameh.Published about a month ago 1 min read

I ease the wheel and let the road guide me.

Neutral settles in,

a quiet middle ground,

not blessing and not burden,

simply the space where breath evens out.

This stillness feels strange,

as if the world holds its pulse,

waiting for something bright to unfold.

It could be the hush

before creation stirs again,

a small pause with stars hidden inside it.

Neutral becomes a thin bridge,

suspended between hope and drifting aimlessly,

a place where the heart studies its own echoes.

If this is where I stand,

then a shift is already on the way,

slow at first,

yet sure enough to find me

and carry me into the next good thing.
