I just listened to Neil Hillborn
And I must say I’m unimpressed
+
HIs rhymes are non-existent
Verbs loud and unrepressed
Like a volcanic air vent
But no deep ardor to be found
+
Granted his poems are all of love
Lost and unrequited
But there are better ways of telling
How your girl gave you a shove
+
Like an itch within your soul
That just can’t seem satiated
Lost love carries on perilously
Zithers and limbs on searching to be whole
+
But all the while looking behind
Never willing to bury the dead
Never willing to say what need said
Never willing to face its own dread
+
Of moving on
Of getting better
Of welcoming the future
The day of a Red Letter
+
Become the whole you were meant to be
Turn your head so that you can see
About the Creator

Take a drink from my words and see. See the words that make truly me. Let me be your mysterious guide, to unveil the visage I try to hide.
