We need to breathe
We long to live
Faith is just a tapestry
Of divinity and the human will
We need to belong, We need to feel
There is something within no none can take or steal
We need to understand the trials of the day
Since the dawn of time the world has been this way
Like the finest stallion galloping at full speed
Man has envied his stance and prowess with greed
We witness the church and the politics of men
They try to speak the word but there is sin within
Our need to rebel so many are convinced to mute their voice
While the enemy advances silent is your power and your choice
Many have given up the fight leaving the court to litigate wrong from right
Day in and day out where we once stood together we now stand in doubt
Labeled by party conviction and pride
We need to come together across the land
Because a house divided shall not stand
We need to learn to see each other as equal
We don’t need a better world but the world needs better people
Now is the time let this be the day
That out of our need we must find the way
